Kuliah Umum Politeknik PU - Semarang "Dinding Penahan Tanah Geosintetik: Green Construction dengan Produk Lokal”
Semarang, May 24, 2025 – Politeknik PU Semarang recently held a guest lecture on Geotechnical Engineering, featuring Mr. Abdul Aziz Avicenna, Director of Sales, Marketing & Engineering at PT Geoforce Indonesia, as the keynote speaker. The event took place at the Soejono Sosrodarsono Auditorium and was attended by students majoring in civil and geotechnical engineering.
Mr. Aziz delivered a presentation titled “Geosynthetic Retaining Walls: Green Construction with Local Products”, highlighting the importance of geosynthetic technology in sustainable infrastructure development and the significant potential of utilizing locally manufactured products to support environmentally friendly construction practices in Indonesia.
The session included not only an in-depth presentation but also an engaging discussion and a fun quiz session with prizes, which drew enthusiastic participation from the students. The audience showed great interest, actively asking questions and exchanging ideas throughout the event.
